Board Member – Judy Zimet, Esq.
Judy Zimet is a personal and real property law attorney. In addition to her Arizona license to practice law, she is an Associate Broker in real estate. Judy worked for a tier-one litigation law firm in Wyoming, and a downtown Phoenix estate planning firm before opening her own practice. Judy has negotiated real estate deals for over 20 years, created business agreements for state and national companies, and drafted hundreds of customized death and disability planning documents. She is Lead Counsel Rated in real estate, business, and estate planning law, and is a luxury certified top producer at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
Judy is an intentional attorney. Most attorneys go from undergrad to law school without first understanding the world outside of school, or their place in it. Judy owned a forensic construction consulting firm, partnered with a real estate investor, and then established a nonprofit before she attended law school. Her desire to become a more effective advocate for her clients was borne out of real life experiences.
Judy encourages her clients to remember charitable giving in their plans. Judy supports The Animal Legal Defense Fund (aldf.org) and nonprofit organizations in her community.
