The Center for Loss & Life Transition, founded in 1985 by Dr. Alan Wolfelt in Fort Collins, Colorado, is a leading organization providing education, training, and resources for people experiencing grief and for bereavement caregivers. It focuses on the "companioning" model of care, offering books, seminars, and counseling to support mourning.

The Franciscan Renewal Center was founded in 1951 as a Catholic retreat, Casa de Paz y Bien, by the Order of Friars Minor. Still affectionately referred to as the Casa, the Franciscan Renewal Center remains an active religious community that seeks to follow in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi.

Founded in 2022 by a group of bereaved fathers who lost their children to illicit fentanyl poisoning. The organization is dedicated to preventing further overdose deaths among young people through education, awareness, and advocacy.

Born from the collective grief and determination of three leading organizations—Fentanyl Fathers, Victoria’s Voice, and Eric’s House—Angel Army is a compassionate alliance of bereaved parents who have faced the heart-wrenching reality of losing a child to drug overdose or accidental poisoning.
