At EricsHouse we offer several workshops and retreats throughout the year to help our clients navigate their grief.
Signature Healing Retreats
Our retreats are designed as immersive, multi-day experiences held in serene environments to foster deep connection and healing.
- Specialized Loss Retreats: Focused gatherings for specific types of loss, such as our "Broken and Blessed" Suicide Loss Retreat and "Transforming Your Grief" sessions in Sedona. Our retreats are structured to allow our clients to spend 3-4 days together in a safe environment, learning and healing.
- Faith-Based Retreats: A 2-1/2 day spiritual retreat service the spiritual needs of parents who have lost a child by any cause, at any age, no matter how long ago.
Structured Grief Workshops
These focused sessions provide tools and frameworks for navigating the "wilderness" of grief.
- The Ten Touchstones: Based on Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s "Ten Touchstones," these workshops provide a roadmap for finding your way through the grief journey.
- The Journey Onward (Men’s Group): A workshop-style group specifically designed for men, focusing on the unique ways men experience and process loss.
- Cultivating Hope: Seasonal workshops, such as our Mother’s Day events, designed to offer support and community during particularly difficult times of the year.
- Living with Meaning and Purpose: After loss, this means integrating grief into life rather than waiting for it to end, honoring the deceased through action, and finding new, intentional reasons to live. This workshop focuses on finding what "makes your heart sing", determining your life's desires, creating a vision board, and sharing fellowship with others who have similar loss experiences.
Specialized Support Series
Targeted workshops for specific bereaved populations to ensure every client feels
truly seen and understood.
- Holiday Support: Short-term workshops offered during the winter months to provide practical and emotional coping strategies for the holiday season.
- The Grieving HeART: A new workshop dedicated to offering a gentle, creative space where members can engage with the grief that they carry inside of them through the alternative language of artistic expression. No art experience is necessary to enjoy this group!
Key Features of Our Offerings
