Finding Your Way Through The Wilderness of Grief Group
Losing a sibling to suicide or substance use is heartbreaking. Siblings share unique bonds that begin early on in life. This group is designed to support adults grieving the loss of a sibling. It is recommended members be 4 to 5 months out from their loss before joining this group. Adults who lost a sibling are often called “the Forgotten Mourners.” Emotional complexities along with the relationships and grief of other family members can sometimes overshadow the grief of siblings. This group provides support so siblings have a safe space to share their feelings in response to loss.
This group has 4-10 members with 2 facilitators and meets weekly for 10 sessions via Zoom, every Tuesday from January 20th to March 26th via Zoom for 90-minute sessions.
This support group meets, via Zoom, every Tuesday from January 20th through March 24th for 90 minutes per session.
Meeting Time 5:00 PM MST (4pm PST, 7pm EST).
