About the Facilitators: 

Jean Nictakis – Jean is a certified Spiritual Director through Christian Disciple Fellowship Ministry, a Reiki Master Teacher, and has received grief companion training by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. She maintains professional memberships in the Healing Touch Professional Association, the Arizona Enneagram Association, and Hospice of the Valley. Jean uses Reiki and Guided Meditations focusing on clearing energy blocks to enhance over all well-being.

Carole Whittaker earned a doctorate in Chemistry at UCLA. Since retiring from careers in teaching and science education and in agricultural businesses, Carole has been engaged in supporting adult spiritual growth. She has taught classes, led retreats, offered individual spiritual direction and developed programs at the Franciscan Renewal Center in Christian spirituality, contemplative prayer, personal development and faith formation.
