Virtual Co-ed Group for Individuals Who Lost Their Partner or Spouse to Suicide
July 17 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
If you have suddenly lost your partner or spouse to suicide we invite you to join our grief support group. We come together virtually to help one another through the emotional complexity of losing a loved one. It is our hope that the support group will give members a safe space to share their feelings in response to a profound loss. We also aim to give participants the opportunity to learn some tools to help heal. Every loss and grief journey is unique to the individual. EricsHouse offers different opportunities for loss survivors to explore so they may feel supported and learn how to integrate your loss in a healthy way as we help you find ways to honor yourself and your loved one.
This group allows members to:
- Share without judgment
- Connect with other loss survivors
- Learn more about grief including the 6 Needs Mourning and the 10 Touchstones by Dr. Alan Wolfelt Ph.D.
- Ideas on how to integrate life into loss and grow through grief
- Session Dates: 7/17, 7/31, 8/14, 8/28, 9/11, 9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/6, 11/20
We will meet every other Monday from July 17 until November 20 at 5pm AZ time via Zoom. This group is open to all genders. We will follow The Wilderness of Suicide Grief: Finding Your Way by Dr. Alan Wolfelt, Ph.D.
Our groups are closed format and require pre-registration. For more information and to see if this is the right group for you, contact Kim Hamilton at email@example.com. Once you have joined the group you will receive a book and journal. There is a $50.00 charge to cover the cost of materials.
